Nestled in an exclusive corner of South Beach's vibrant "South of Fifth" district, the property's rooftop oasis is one of the most anticipated features of the residential property. Strategically designed by Juul-Hansen to serve as a cool and contemporary natural sanctuary in the heart of a bustling neighborhood, the oasis features stunning private gardens, a 75-foot private pool surrounded by sleek, minimalist style lounging beds, and a state-of-the-art hot tub—the ultimate, Danish-style open space tailored to the South Florida environment. "I believe in efficient spaces and sumptuous materialization, extensive The ultimate harmony of pool, property, and environment customization, and a restrained palette," says Juul-Hansen. In this way, his design for the pool—clean, simple, and sophisticated—encourages residents to eliminate thoughts and worries from their minds. "Our vision is to create a modern, pure, and practical space for an elegant and redefined luxury living environment," Juul-Hansen adds. To establish the ultimate harmony of pool, property, and environment, the rooftop oasis would not be complete without the work of Urban Robot's Justine Velez, the landscape designer for the pool deck. Her plant palette, in combination with Juul-Hansen's expert use of space and materials, has successfully transformed the pool deck into a living sanctuary. "The rooftop planting was selected to respond to the ocean breeze, softening the clean lines of the architecture," says Velez. "Delicate, curving trunks of the Montgomery Palm will gently lean and bend in the wind, providing a perpetual kaleidoscope of lightly dappled shade. Meanwhile, the ornamental seed pods of dune grasses will sway and undulate. Golden Beach Creeper will cascade over the sides of planters while light pink Oleander will provide a pop of color to the serene atmosphere." Residences at Three Hundred Collins range from $1.2 million to more than $9 million.
